I would stay here again with my pet. Although, if I am near without my pet, I would go elsewhere.

Staff varies in friendliness but was generally nice and helpful. Breakfast was adequate but the 'hot' items were not that appealing. The juice machine was broken with no alternate option so drink selections were extremely poor. If you're interested in the fitness room, there's a bike, elliptical, treadmill, and small (8lbs or less) dumbbell weights -and the room is very small but open until midnight.

Pros- Polite staff, hot complimentary breakfast, great price, easy interstate access, spacious rooms, nice bed/sheets, clean bathrooms.

The pictures are inaccurate. This place is in the middle of a "renovation" which makes the place look like it's falling apart. The nice lobby in the pictures has been torn up and there are sections of just bare drywall and others with old, aging wallpaper peeling or looking less than appealing.

Cons- Needs updating throughout rooms and hallways. Feels like it’s in the first stages of becoming run down.

This is one of our favorite Comfort Inn' s. We have been stopping here for several years on our way to the gulf. The rooms are fantastic and clean. A few years ago we stopped here and CI was going to remodel. We couldn't imagine why because it was and still is a very beautiful and excellent place to stay. The entire staff are top notch and very accommodating. We once checked out and left behind some of our personal things. When we realized it was left behind, the staff had it in their hands waiting for our return. We love this Comfort Inn and it's Staff!

There were 4 of us traveling together, so we got 2 adjoining rooms. We got settled in, and got ready to go out for dinner. We couldn't lock one of the rooms. We decided that since we had adjoining rooms, we could just lock the deadbolt and go out the door of the other room. So, we locked the dead bolt, but every time we would push the door handle down from outside the room, it would unlock the deadbolt. We wound up just lockin the little sliding lock. We reported to the front desk, and she said she would switch our rooms when we returned from dinner...and she did. The rooms were clean and neat with the exception of a few hairs around. A little stuffy, but after air was on for while, it was better. Had to switch out the remote for the TV. Showers were odd to operate. Slept well. We went down to breakfast...they were out of orange juice and regular batter for waffles. Had to go ask the lady at the front desk, who said. ..isn't the attendant in there? No. So, front desk lady changed out juice, which tasted horrible, so i drank apple juice instead. She found the attendant who said there was plenty of regular batter, it was just frozen. ..she added some warm water and shook it up. It was fine then. Made our waffles and went to get some meat...none. attendant said they were out. She said they had been really busy for this time of year. But nobody thought to go buy some....So no meat. When I booked this hotel, I actually thought it was a 3 or 4 star for some reason(I think it was the site I was on) but it was only a 2 star-i wouldn't have booked had I known. If the owners would just pay a little more attention to details, this could be a great hotel. Our rooms seemed updated, were clean, comfortable . The staff was very friendly, and helpful. It's the little things that count though. ..

Very nice hotel, updated decor, hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, waffles, pastries and more. Room was comfortable, tv and satellite was best we've ever experienced! Employees were friendly and helpful. Location was convenient to interstate, restaurants, and shopping. Highly recommended.

We chose this hotel because it was pet friendly.

Overall, it was not one of my favorite hotels I've stayed at but for the price is was fine. Also, perhaps when the renovations are done it will be better as well.
